Larry Jordan - AOC Tanzania Trip

Join us at the South Texas Botanical Garden at 7 PM to see amazing photos by Larry Jordan from the AOC’s own Tanzania trip this past February with Holbrook Travel.

Upcoming Field Trips

Come join us in the field as we explore the bird life around Corpus Christi and beyond!

We are taking a break until September to beat the heat. Have a great summer!

October 24th - Welder Wildlife Refuge

We will meet up with the staff at the front gate on U.S. Hwy. 77 about 7 miles north of Sinton, at 8:00 a.m. The staff will guide us through the property until 11:00 a.m. and we will then have our lunch al fresco.

Be sure to bring your binoculars, lunch, water, bug spray and a snack if desired. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

The property boasts an extensive collection of bird skins (including the extinct Heath Hen and Passenger Pigeon) bird eggs, art works by celebrated wildlife artist Francis Lee Jaques, and much more.
